We have been adding books as we designed them. Yup, one by one. Cover by cover.
We are now at 255 books for visitors to enjoy, browse, and talk about. It's also a good way to find a conversation topic or an ice breaker, if that is what you need.
The books come separated into some 20 categories, just like any bookstore in the world.
Pretty soon you'll notice that some books have no author; this just means Jean or me made up those books for the sake of some humor or to trigger a thought about some issues affecting human society.
We have left out some categories. We left out RELIGION because it's never a good idea to talk about that with strangers whom you might alienate or offend. And we left out ADULT BOOKS because there's plenty of that in the game already.
So go ahead and browse!
We still need to add novels into this category... :)
We change the "featured topic" once a month. And as you can see, this month it's World Cup time.
But we had different topics in the past, ranging from King Tut (yes, I've built a little statue of the guy, LOL) and all the way to god Loki, the mean boy in the mythological pantheon of the Vikings.
Pretty clueless on what to put here since both Jean and I are not fans of this category, lol... Oh, and we try to not to repeat the same author too many times.
Too many to mention (for me at least) but yeah-- I went with my big time favorties first. I plead guilty for being subjective here, lol...
There are so many here, that both sides of the shelf were needed.
This also gets updated on a monthly basis. And yes, I created the font for that, too.
